Magnetic Numbers and Maths Symbols
Colourful, easy-to-handle magnetic numbers and symbols have been designed to help children with number recognition as well as learn counting and basic maths through hands-on play. Each box contains 18 of each character in 4 colours (288 pieces total).
Product Description
Our numbers were developed in partnership with several maths teachers as part of our Propeller brand back in 2016. These number forms are unique which helps to build up regular recognition.
Available in four bright colours (Blue, Green, Red and Yellow) all 16 characters (0-9, Plus, Minus, Divide, Times, Long Bar and Equals) are unique and not designed to be interchangeable. For example, the number 6 has a curved ascender, whereas the number 9 has a straight leg.
Each number is approx. 35mm tall, and is supplied in a reusable, recyclable box to keep classrooms tidy and organised.
Teacher Designed
This product has been developed as part of our ‘Teacher Designed’ programme – collaborating with teachers in the UK to make their whiteboard designs a reality.
From the Lab
Child safety is very important to us and it is why we go above what is needed to ensure that every product, especially things with magnets in them, are as safe as possible. Our in-house testing takes things, literally to the next level by testing magnet insersion strength from one story (6m) high on to solid ground, that's three times' more than required.
